HALEDON OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

The Borough of Haledon Office of Emergency Management (OEM) works to mitigate, and plan and prepare for emergencies; educate the public about preparedness, coordinate emergency response and recovery efforts, collect and disseminate critical information ,and seek funding opportunities in support of the overall preparedness of the Borough of Haledon.

To accomplish this mission, OEM maintains a disciplined staff of emergency management personnel, including responders, planners, administrative and support staff to identify and respond to various hazards.

The staff of this agency is dedicated to ensuring the Borough of Haledon is as prepared as possible for all types of emergencies.  We believe City, County, State, Federal, and private entities can achieve better results together then they can alone.  Our goal is to make certain that all these organizations, as well as our residents, our most important partners, have the information, resources and plans necessary to respond to and recover from any disaster.
